2024 REMINGTON PARK – EASY MONEY CHASE
Spring Season Online Handicapping Contest
Remington Park offers the 2024 Easy Money Chase during its American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season.
The Easy Money Chase (Chase or the Chase) is a FREE online contest, running from Saturday, March 23, 2024 thru Saturday, June 1, 2024 (or the last racing date of the season). Participants are required to register and provide a working email address as well as a residential address and contact phone number. Once doing so, they can logon to the Chase and select one entry only in each of at least three Remington Park races on contest race dates. Past performances for each contest race are available on the game page. Participants are credited with a "virtual" $2.00 win (1st), place (2nd), and show (3rd) or "across the board" wager on each of their selections. The total pari-mutuel pay-outs according to Remington Park official race results will be accrued to the participant's "virtual" bankroll.
EXAMPLE: if your selection in the Chase RACE 1 finishes 2nd, paying $5.60 to place and $3.10 to show, your selection in the Chase RACE 2 does not finish first, second, or third (off the board), your selection in the Chase RACE 3 finishes 3rd and pays $3.20 to show, your “virtual” bankroll will be credited or increased by $11.90 ($5.60, $3.10 and $3.20).
Please note, on the following days more than three contest races will be used for the Chase:
Saturday, March 23, 2024 (Oklahoma Futurity Night)
Saturday, April 27, 2024 (Remington Park Futurity Night)
Saturday, May 25, 2024 (Oklahoma-bred Stakes Day)
Saturday, June 1, 2024 (Champions Night)
All of these dates will feature multiple stakes races at Remington Park, with many possibly used as contest races for the Chase.
Participants continue in the Chase until such day that none of their selections finish in the top four of their respective races. Participants can remain in the Chase by having at least one of their selections run in 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th position, in their respective race. However, they will get no "virtual bankroll” credit for a 4th-place finisher. Only selections that finish in 1st, 2nd or 3rd position will receive "virtual bankroll” credit based on the official pari-mutuel payoffs for that respective race. Please note: There is no maximum cap placed on the win, place and show payoffs.
Contestants playing the Chase will have one “Life” before getting knocked out of the game for any length of time, or permanently. Contestants can gain additional “Lives” by acquiring The LUCKY HORSESHOE which acts as a free pass that allows players to survive in the Chase if they do not enter selections for a race day or if all of their race selections fail to finish in the top four positions of their respective race. The LUCKY HORSESHOE is an additional “life” utilized to stay in the Chase.
Contestants that lose all of their eligibility (regular life and any Lucky Horseshoes) may be forced to sit out a few days of the Chase, being placed “In the Barn.” As each new racing week begins at Remington Park (normally on Thursdays) all contestants that had to sit “In the Barn” due to losing eligibility, will get back in the Chase.
Since all players are out of the barn and back in the CHASE at the start of every new racing week at Remington Park, no players will lose eligibility on any Sunday (the normal final race day each week) prior to May 9, 2024. Essentially, all Sundays prior to May 9 are “free-play” dates, where contestants will not lose a Lucky Horseshoe or any “life” eligibility.
The final get-back in the Chase Thursday will be May 9, 2024. After that date, if a contestant loses all of their eligibility status (regular life and any Lucky Horseshoes) they will be completely eliminated from the Chase and any consideration for prizes.
All eligible contestants will receive additional Lucky Horseshoes on Thursday, April 11, 2024 and again on Thursday, May 9, 2024. A contestant will have the ability to stockpile up to three (3) Lucky Horseshoes.
Participants do not have to make a selection in all three races. In the event of a late scratch of a participant's selection, that participant will automatically receive the post-time (off-time) wagering favorite for that respective race. If a participant selects a "coupled" entry, and one (or in the case of a three-horse entry, two horse(s) is (are) scratched, the participant's choice is the remaining horse(s) in the originally selected entry. If all parts of a selected entry are scratched, the player receives the post-time favorite. If the post-time favorite is a "coupled" entry, the player receives the entire entry and will be credited with the pari-mutuel pay out accordingly.
REGISTRATION
Participants who register for the Chase in the timeframe leading up to the beginning of the game on Saturday, March 23, 2024 will begin the Chase with ONE LUCKY HORSESHOE in addition to their regular player ‘Life.’
Contestants can continue to register for the Chase after the beginning of the game. However, they will not receive a LUCKY HORSESHOE to begin their play. Instead they will have only one ‘Life’ while they compete and wait for the new additional LUCKY HORSESHOES to come into play. The late-arriving contestants ca accumulate ‘virtual bankroll’ beginning with the first contest day they play the Chase.
Registration to play the Chase will close 30-minutes before the first Remington Park race of the day on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
SURVIVING TO WIN PRIZES
Players must “survive” the Chase through the end of the 2024 American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season at Remington Park (Saturday, June 1, 2024, or the last race date of season) in order to be eligible for prize consideration. If there are zero players to "survive" the Chase, then prizes will be awarded based on the "virtual" bankroll of contestants upon the season’s end. Check EasyMoneyChase.com for complete updated standings.
The Chase begins Saturday, March 23, 2024 and concludes when the last Remington Park live race is official on Saturday, June 1, 2024 (or the last race date of the season). The Chase scoring is based on pari-mutuel information as supplied by the official Equibase Charts for Remington Park racing. All race selections must be made no less than thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of the first race of a respective Remington Park racing program.
In the event of a tie for the highest accumulated “virtual” pari-mutuel total (bankroll), the player in that tie who selected the Most Winners throughout the contest will be declared the Grand Prize Winner. If there is still a tie for highest accumulated “virtual” bankroll after utilizing the tiebreaker, the contestants that are tied will split the prizes they are eligible to receive. For example if there is a tie for 1st Place with two contestants that cannot be separated using the tie-breaker, then those two contestants will split the combined 1st-place and 2nd-place prizes, evenly. This process will be used to decide all finishers eligible for prizes if need be.
Winners will be notified by email.
GOOD LUCK in the 2024 Easy Money Chase!
PRIZES
The Chase for the 2024 American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season at Remington Park will offer the following cash prizes, distributed to the top finishers, based on highest accumulated ‘virtual bankroll.’ The cash prizes will be awarded to eligible contestants as follows:
1st Place/Grand Prize-$2,000
2nd Place-$1,000
3rd Place-$750
4th Place-$600
5th Place-$500
The Chase contestant who compiles the Most Winners via their contest-race selections will receive a $1,000 cash prize. In the event more than one contestant shares the highest amount of Most Winners, then the tie-breaker for this prize will go to the contestant with the highest accumulated “virtual” bankroll. If still tied after that, the $1,000 will be split evenly among those tied for Most Winners selected.
It is a possibility that a contestant can receive both a ‘virtual bankroll’ cash-prize and the prize for correctly selecting the Most Winners.
All Cash Prizes will be made in US Dollars.
ELIGIBILITY
Participants must agree to abide by the Chase official rules, be 18 years or older at time of entry and possess a valid email address and telephone number for contact purposes.

THE LUCKY HORSESHOE
The lucky horseshoe helps you Survive within the Chase game. It is automatically applied to any day that you do not make selections OR any day that your selections do not finish in the top four of their respective race. As the Chase progresses through the 2024 American Quarter Horse, Paint and Appaloosa Season at Remington Park, the administrator of the Chase will assign additional Lucky Horseshoe(s) to all contestants that registered for the Chase, including those that were forced to sit out race days due to selections not finishing in top four of a race in the Chase. Participants having used their "lucky horseshoe/s" will be forced to sit out racing days when none of their following selections finish in the top-four positions on a particular racing day. Those players will be reactivated to the Chase each Thursday of the season, with the exception of race days following May 9, 2024 when contestants will not receive any new eligibility.
Following are the dates when the new Lucky Horseshoes will be applied to player accounts: Thursday, April 11, 2024 and Thursday, May 9, 2024.
