In 2003, one of his horses tested positive for Mepivacaine, an illegal analgesic. Dutrow has served various suspension times, ranging from 14 to 60 days, for these violations, yet he is still allowed to compete despite his repeated violations.

Makes me wonder if I owned a big time yearling would I hand the controls to a 23% trainer with a shady history or a 14% clean good horseman or horsewoman. Like to think I'd do the right thing.
