I have a new hobby thoroughly studying standardbred races when netsfck makes a pick. I don't enjoy handicapping standardbreds but I'm doing his followers a big favor because he has proven that he can't see the total picture beyond the morning line odds!

Caution! Stranger #7 stole the race last time from Special Select #8 who closed from another planet to finish 2nd only 2 lengths back. Stranger of course could get an easy lead again and repeat the steal because it doesn't look like anybody else can push him early. But if Special Select also decides to make the intelligent early move to the lead, there will be a fair race and the best horse will win. If he doesn't, the driver either doesn't want to win or he's an idiot. There is not much difference in talent, so I wouldn't accept very low win odds. These two horses look so much better than the rest of the field, so it looks like an easy exacta but it will only pay pennies. You'll probably even see a huge show bet pool. It's certain that tonight we're going to get to see netsfck brag about his $2.10 show price, so allow me to be the first to congratulate him on such an incredible feat.
